Sixty Second Spot: Karen Gillan on 'Good Morning America'
Posted by Doctor Who Store Staff on Feb 27th 2018
It’s no secret that former Eleventh Doctor companion, Karen Gillan, has moved on to feature as a villain in the Marvel Universe.
On February 27th, she appeared alongside Sebastian Stan and Paul Bettany – two of her many Avengers: Infinity War co-stars – to discuss Marvel’s charitable initiative, Marvel Universe Unites.
This
campaign, an extension of Marvel Studios: Hero Acts, revolves around
the donation of toys and money to various children’s hospitals.
“Oh, it feels like Christmas!” Karen exclaimed before
opening her own box full of Infinity War toys.
“These will be donated to Starlight Children’s Foundation after
we’re done playing with them...” she went on to explain.
Good
Morning America also sent out a Instagram post that included a
picture of Karen, Sebastian, and Paul with the promise that if they
reached one million “likes” on their Hero Acts-related posts,
Marvel and Disney would donate an additional $250,000 to the
Foundation.
